I believe it is vital to look to the past to know where we are headed. This is a great short video that partially explains the vast inequalities that we face today. Millions of people like myself really don't understand wealth but desire it in their lives because of the financial freedom and security it provides. However, I am beginning to realize that maybe it is not for me. From birth, I have been advised to "Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He will give me the desires of my heart." Hope this video enlightens all those who take time to watch.

Spent: Looking For Change (Documentary)
This documentary really hit home for me. To see college educated people experiencing what undisciplined people are going through is saddening. You expect those issues from someone who hasn't accepted their individual responsibilities as an American citizen. You expect those issues from generational government dependents. You expect those issues from those who are looking for handouts. But to see hard working folks, who saved and paid their debts and graduated from college to obtain their dreams, fighting through these predatory institutions that are likely established by TBTF banks that WE THE PEOPLE bailed out not very long ago, is an abomination!! Unfortunately, our middle class is slowly fading but I believe in time balance will return but it is going to get real ugly before it gets better. Hang in there Amerigo!

REE HandBook
REE HandBook It amazes me that a few years ago, I pondered at the how the earths elements chart would be useful in my life. A few years ago, however, I was working a job that paid quite well and I was very complacent with my position. And about a year ago that complacency started to wear off. For some unknown reason I began tuning into the WealthTV channel that was included in my cable package with AT&T Uverse. During the few months that I watched that channel, I saw how wealthy people live and actually I received a few tips on stocks to buy. To name a few, Lanthanium, Thulium, and Neodymium. Those Rare Earth Elements also known as Rare Earth Metals are found in countless items we use in our everyday lives. Smartphones, automobiles, gasoline, and pretty much every aspect of technology. Presently, over 75% of our lives is based on technology. Unfortunately, instead of acting on those stock tips, I wallowed in my envy of wealthy people. I made comments about buying houses versus buying islands. And honestly, I can't say that I am physically or mentally able to maintain an island or the wealth that the 1% have acquired for making intelligent transactions with their finances but I would've never imagined how I could've capitalized on that stinking chart that I had to study in junior high school! Thanks to anyone who spent their valuable time reading my blog.

Policy and the Personal - NYTimes.com
Policy and the Personal - NYTimes.com I truly believe that many religious beliefs(Christianity) play a major rolls in the decline of economic systems. Belief systems were used since the beginning of time to control civilizations and the flow of the economy. I don't want to say the 1% have no belief system or moral code but they do follow the "Narrow Path." Not many travel that road and that's why it's only 1% of them(wealthy). Money can be the root of all evil if you don't know how to manage it or multiply it. In one of Jesus's parables, He referred to a servent as evil because the servent wasn't fruitful with what his master gave him stewardship over. I think it is vital that Americans do their homework on why past economic systems have failed and realize how closely we mimic every aspect of them. A great place to start is the open online history course offered at http://oyc.yale.edu, The Early Middle Ages (284-1000) with Paul Freedmann. This is an informative way to give direction and understanding to why things are the way they are. Don't hate the players, hate the game, and change it!

Happy Birthday America!
The 4th of July is a celebration of the freedom our founders acquired from the British strongholds. However, for many years, for me, it was a celebration of BBQ ribs, baked beans, potato salad, hot dogs, bratswurt, pasta salad and macaroni & cheese. I celebrated the fireworks and enjoyed watching my neighbors compete in their fireworks display. Usually who ran out of fireworks first was the loser. Now as a 37yr old adult, I acknowledge this day with reverence. Although I complain about the abundant taxes we endure and sometimes disgusted by the imbalance of wealth/economics in America, I do appreciate my country. The Moscato glass I drink from is always 1/2 full, therefore I praise the fact that I live in a country where I am "free" to dress the way I choose,"free" to believe in Jesus, I can sleep w/o the worries of air-raids because of on going civil wars, and I can ultimately achieve any of my goals thru preserverence, good credit, and knowledge of everything(Power). And w/ God, cause apart from Him, I am nothing(Only those who've meditated on the words in the Bible will comprehend that statement). So although at times I refer to the US(United States of America) as the "Land of the Slaves", we are just as much the "Land of the Free-er than most other countries!" I do love Amerigo no matter what the future holds for her. But to add a little side dish for thought.....When you love & know thyself, trust thyself, and believe in thyself, you can ultimately live and love and maintain in any country on this Earth. Mankind is a creation to be Awed because God/Creator/Higgs Bison Particle lives through US and we were wonderfully and fearfully made! Happy 236th Birthday Amerigo and many, many, many more!!! Shalom!

Tom Cruise divorce raises question: What is Scientology, anyway? | Entertainment - WLKY Home
Tom Cruise divorce raises question: What is Scientology, anyway? | Entertainment - WLKY Home This article is the first bit of solid information I have actually read about Scientology and I have been quite curious to know what it entailed. Gathering the information from this article, I don't find it controversial at all because like most belief systems, it's main goal is to guide the flesh during it's journery through Earth. Being a monotheistic person myself, I find anyone who denies the existence of God to be out of my circle or I would have to create a circle for that category of association on Google+. This article on Scientology spoke about methods of pulling past traumas that may have caused a person's state of depression by asking specific questions that allows the person to release emotions. Baptists call that "casting out demons." Scientology brings a person into a "clear" state of mind, Christians call it "being delivered." As far as the alien element of the religion(belief system), no comment. The only aliens I believe in, is the illegal ones that are entering this country without a "green card." But at the end of the day they are my brothers and sisters as well. No matter what we believe in, we all make up mankind and when we pass on we will all be in our spirit form, with the Alpha Spirit that got this ball rolling in the first place. Shalom!

It is Better to Give!
How Homemade gift baskets can save you money and show you care | How Life Works. I ran across this blog and found it expounded on the very reason I want to start a gift basket business. However, because the vast amount of gift basket websites on the internet, I find it a bit discouraging. I do believe that my purpose in this world is to give. I've always been a "cheerful giver" without looking for reciprocation for the gift. Whether the gift is money, clothing, or a cherished item of my own, once the gift is given, it cannot be taken away. Because so many may be facing financial challenges, there is always someone who may be less fortunate than yourself. Let us not stop giving no matter what the economy may bring. Custom made gift baskets are a great way to show someone you care. This link http://www.howlifeworks.com/shopping/how_homemade_gift_baskets_can_save_you_money_and_show_you_care gives great tips on creating a basket yourself. But for those of you who have money to spend, visit the many gift basket websites out there and send a wonderfully made basket to someone who needs a gift. Hopefully you will be purchasing one of my own in the near future.
